We’re getting a lot of great demos in lately from artists that are new to us. We’re continuing to work on our Fall into Winter schedule and we’ve got some really good releases on deck, including some really surprising material. We’ll publish more as things firm up.

Tribetoolz.de has released their latest compilation “The BodyFunk Experience” featuring 16 modern takes on early 80’s electronic Hip Hop / Electro-R&B. It’s a tribute to the Roland TR 808, and those pioneers who harnessed it to create cosmic funk like Afrika Bambaataa, Egyptian Lover, Newcleus, and Hasim.
JGarrett’s Electro-flashback project Linoleum Head is featured on the compilation as well.
JGarrett will be performing July 25th in Vancouver at Open Studios as part of Sequential Circus 5. More details will be made available when the official announcement comes from the SC crew.

Our latest release “Second Statement” featuring a cross-section of strong tracks from a variety of Xynthetic artists is now available for downloading and streaming:
dFp returns to Xynthetic Netlabel with a new EP of six tracks in the unique dFp style. This latest EP ‘Breaking the Robot’ mixes straight-ahead Techno with classic IDM, Industrial overtones and driving beats. This is a solid follow up to his popular ‘Too Many Teeth’ EP. You can find streaming audio and download the EP from the following page:
Please welcome Allan Shotter to the Xynthetic netlabel family as we present his first EP under our banner: ‘Fallen Fleet.’ ‘Fallen Fleet’ features delicate and detailed rhythmic textures sliding over detuned spaces bearing subtle melodies. This is updated IDM with a deep core. Check it out here:
We’ve got a number of new EPs on the horizon, including two very different releases from the gigantically prolific Sascha Müller. Look for a new Psonikadia release on the horizon… as well as a very metal release from our friends in the amazingly named Crackpuncher.
We are also planning a collaborative compilation with netlabel Kahvi Collective which will see a number of Xynthetic and Kahvi Collective artists share remixing duties.
XSN036 – Various Artists – Our Back Yard
This EP is focused on artists in our home town of Vancouver, BC. As you’d expect from Xynthetic it covers a bit of ground and mixes a variety of genres. We’ve got 10 tracks covering 80s-mode Acid House, minimalist Techno and TechHouse to Leftfield grooves and sliced and diced glitch. This is our first time really focusing on the community here and we’re very happy with the results.
XSN034 and XSN035 now available – dual transmission from Catalonia
We proudly present the latest two releases on Xynthetic Netlabel, featuring two artists from Barcelona, Spain:
XSN034 – Logical Disorder ‘Hypnotism and Gnosis’
Javier Berraro (aka m u t o) provides us with his second EP from his Logical Disorder project for Xynthetic: ‘Hypnotism and Gnosis.’ This latest EP follows with the same crystal clear production and solid musicality to the core of his tracks that we’ve come to expect from him. ‘Hypnotism and Gnosis’ explores the hidden corners of the mind and blends a variety of sonic palettes, fusing classic thirdwave Industrial influences with shiny, up-to-date, intelligent electronica. This release is also the first Xynthetic download to include a video, which was made for the track Phantas featured among the five tracks on this release.
Swordxl delivers his first release for Xynthetic with the 10-track full length release ‘It’s Evolution Baby.’ Angular and oblique breakbeats collide with plush melodies and soft atmospherics through a variety of remixes of/by and original tracks from Swordxl. This release offers something for the casual listener as well as grist for those looking to dive deeper into the more cerebral end of breakcore and leftfield downtempo.
Video for Logical Disorder’s ‘Phantas’ coming soon on ‘Hypnotism and Gnosis’ (XSN034).
A new video for Logical Disorder’s ‘Phantas’ can be viewed on YouTube:
‘Phantas’ is featured on the upcoming ‘Hypnotism and Gnosis’ EP from Logical Disorder (Barcelona’s Javier Berraro, aka m u t o). ‘Hypnotism and Gnosis’ will be available next week!
XSN033 – The Sundog Project – The Sky Moved Overhead
Xynthetic Netlabel is pleased to announce our latest release, featuring an artist that is new to the Xynthetic family. The Sundog Project presents ‘The Sky Moved Overhead’ – oblique, organic breakbeats mingle with warm, thick melodies. Featuring the title track from The Sundog Project and two remixes of material by Creepy Candles. Check out the release here.
XSN032 – Craque – Roots
Craque’s ‘Roots’, his latest EP for Xynthetic, is now available for download from its release page. ‘Roots’ features seven tracks that explore a mix of laidback, but disjointed grooves and sliced atmospheres with a bit of Dub and Glitch to round out the experience.
XSN031 – Kill Ref – Protection
Xynthetic Netlabel is proud to present Kill Ref’s ‘Protection’ EP, XSN031. Hailing from Italy, Kill Ref serves up intricately sliced beats, beautiful melodies and deep-cut, angular grooves across four studio tracks and a live version of the title track.
We are very pleased to be bringing you our latest release on the Xynthetic Netlabel catalog. We present “Ultima Thule” from Brighton England’s Danzai.
Danzai produces effervescent, shimmering Dub Techno in the tradition of Chain Reaction and Basic Channel, but with his own injections of melody and structure. Danzai’s previous release with Xynthetic was the XDR series EP “Iceworks,” available through Juno Download.
We just refreshed the files for “Second Statement,” the original version included a bounce of Phylum Sinter’s “The Pendulum Swings” which plays back slow due to a frequency conversion problem when we were mastering the release. New masters were just created and the streaming and downloadable versions have been refreshed.
Sorry for the inconvenience. You can still download the compilation from here:
